The system must run in remote field stations without network access. How does offline compute work?
OFFICIAL RULES & GUIDELINES
Teams must consist strictly of 5 registered students per team. Registration fee is a flat ₹100 per team.
Projects may be physical prototypes, IoT systems, robotics, or engineering builds with clear technical contribution.
Every project must feature a working prototype or live demo: slide-only presentations will receive heavy score penalties.
Commercial modules and open-source libraries must be declared: teams are evaluated strictly on their own contribution.
Safety protocols must be maintained: electrical connections must be insulated and safe operating zones established.
Finalists will face the signature Engineer's Curveball round following their main presentation.
JUDGING RUBRIC
Component selection, data flow, circuits, algorithms, and design rationale.
Reliability of the live demonstration, response time, and measurable performance.
Novelty of approach, practical problem solving, and unique differentiation.
Significance of the challenge solved and real-world deployment value.
Clarity under jury cross-examination and adaptability to surprise engineering constraints.
